Reflections and moving on

Today's life lesson is about not staying in the same place too long.  I have realized that each of us no matter how young or how old can reach a place of becoming stagnant.  We must learn to adapt to change.

I remember when computers first came out they were big took over most of the desk made a lot of noise and pushed a whole lot of buttons.  A lot of things came out on these huge printers and I remembered how challenging it was to just use them....there was a ad saying"You have come a long way baby" I think it was commerical.  Now look at the computers of today.  I really get lost now doing some things that are technical.  Our younger generation the adapt and they evolve.  We have to be willing to make the changes necessary for our ever changing society.

I am not saying that we will understand every little detail and perhaps we might need a lot of help.  Thank God for my (twelve year old) computer wiz who apparently become frustrated by my ability of not knowing.  I give a very good attempt but sometimes I fail.  That is okay.  It is the mindset of the ability to adapt and change.  Change makes people afraid naturally.  There is nothing wrong with the admission of that at least I will say it if you won't.  Anything that challenges us will make us afraid.

The point is life is every changing all around us.  We become older or you die.  There are usually just two choices.  I choose life but we must sometimes embrace change.  We do not have the luxury of time just standing still.  It works on the movies and perhaps we would all want a time machine.  In real life we must progress in our mindset and except the fact that things will change.  We have to become a little new and improved or we stay on the boat of little or no paddles to swim.

The bible speaks of a relationship and a man who does not change. Jesus. In his promises to us.  He is the same yesterday today and forever.  His love towards us is the same.  I celebrate the fact that Gods love to us no matter how much we change and evolve is for everlasting.  That is of great comfort to me and I hope to others.  That His abounding love will not change even if I never get a new I-phone and not know how to use it...His Servant TonyaNooks@c2012
